Surface Preparation:

Wash surface with household detergent. Remove all wax, grease, oil, scaling paint or other impurity. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and let dry. Fill cracks and holes. Dull the shine on glossy surfaces with sand paper or steel wool. Sources of water leaks must be repaired. NEW CONCRETE AND CEMENT: Free lime must be removed by washing surface with a solution of zinc sulfate, 3 lbs to a gallon of water. Use one gallon of solution per 100 square feet of surface. Allow to dry for 24 hours. Rinse with clear water; allow to dry, then sweep away remaining crystals. Apply paint as directed.

Mixing:

Stir paint thoroughly with a flat broad paddle working from the bottom of the can until consistency is uniform. This is supplied in ready to use consistency. Do not thin.

Application:

Use a good quality full-sized bristle wall brush, roller or spray gun. Apply generously to small areas at a time (about 3' x 4') working to a wet edge. When using roller, do not press or roll too quickly. If a second coat is desired, allow first coat to dry thoroughly.

Washing:

Washable in one month. Wash with a large, soft sponge, water and mild soap.

Coverage:

On a smooth surface in good condition this paint will cover 360 square feet per gallon or 90 square feet per quart over its own or similar color. Rough or textured surfaces will require more paint to cover.

Cleanup:

Remove all spatters immediately with a cloth, wet with paint thinner or mineral spirits. Wash all equipment with same before paint hardens.

Contains Petroleum Solvents:

Keep away from heat and open flame. To avoid breathing vapors or spray mist, open windows and doors or use other means to ensure fresh air entry during application and drying. If you experience eye watering, headaches or dizziness, increase fresh air or wear respiratory protection or leave the area. Close container after each use. Avoid prolonged contact with sin. DO not take internally.

Caution:

KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. USE ONLY WITH ADEQUATE VENTILATION. DO NOT TAKE INTERNALLY. CLOSE CONTAINER AFTER EACH USE. AVOID PROLONGED CONTACT WITH SKIN OR BREATHING OF SPRAY MIST. KEEP FROM FREEZING.

If you scrape sand or remove old paint, you may release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC, EXPOSURE TO LEAD DUST CAN CAUSE SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS BRAIN DAMAGE, ESPECIALLY IN CHILDREN. DO NOT paint over any asphalt based flooring such as linoleum.

THIS PAINT CONTAINS NO LEAD OR MERCURY COMPOUNDS. Do not add paint thinners, oil colors or alkyd colors. Do not mix with any other type of paint. Stir well, but do not shake or whip. Do not paint when the temperature is below 50 degrees F.
