ARDEX FEATHER FINISH XF – 10 lb Self-Drying Cement Underlayment

ARDEX FEATHER FINISH XF is a self-drying, cement-based finish underlayment designed to provide a smooth, permanent surface over a variety of interior substrates before installing floor coverings. It is formulated from Portland cement and other hydraulic cements to create a durable base.

You can mix it with water only — no primers or additives are required in most cases. Its true featheredge consistency allows for low-spot patching or full skim coats, and when applied properly, flooring can be installed as soon as 15 minutes after application. The product offers excellent bond strength, mold and mildew resistance, and superior coverage — up to approximately 300 sq. ft. per 10 lb bag (when used as a skim coat).

This underlayment is suitable for concrete, masonry, wood, terrazzo, and properly prepared existing tile or adhesive residue substrates. It ensures a flat, smooth base for vinyl, VCT, sheet vinyl, laminate, tile, or other floor coverings.
