Description
Dunham's Latex Interior Primer Sealer can be used as an undercoat for flat, glosses, and enamels and can be applied to most surfaces such as sheetrock, new and old plaster, new wood, cinder block, cement, stucco, masonry and other porous painted surfaces.

Surface Preparation:
GENERAL: Remove all loose and peeling paint. Make all repairs of plaster or other surfaces with water based patching plaster. Use no caulking compounds, putty or other bearing fillers. New Work: Sand surfaces smooth. Allow new plaster or concrete to cure thoroughly before priming. OLD WORK: Wash the old surfaces with detergent to remove oil, grease, etc., especially over previously painted surfaces. Be sure to rinse detergent away to insure adequate bonding of the latex sealer to the surface. Dacron, Dyne, and Mohair fabric rollers work well with latex paints. Lamb’s wool and Viscose Rayon rollers have poor water resistance and are not recommended for use with latex paints.
Application:
Stir thoroughly before applying. Do not thin sealer unless absolutely necessary. If paint must be thinned, use water only (as this is a water-based sealer) and keep water additions to an absolute minimum. Do not apply the latex sealer paint when surfaces or air temperatures are below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Allow one hour drying between coats when second coat is to be applied. Do not mix the water base sealer with any oil paints, turpentine, or mineral thinner.
Caution:
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. DO NOT TAKE INTERNALLY. CLOSE CONTAINER AFTER EACH USE. KEEP FROM FREEZING.
Warning:
If you scrape sand or remove old paint, you may release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC, EXPOSURE TO LEAD DUST CAN CAUSE SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS BRAIN DAMAGE. CHILDREN AND PREGNANT WOMEN ESPECIALLY SHOULD ALO AVOID EXPOSURE. Wear a NIOSH-approved respirator to control lead exposure. Clean up carefully with a HEPA vacuum and a wet mop.
